'Dynamic environment' - Club open daily and there's always something going on!   Club Profile                                                             Website: www.palmerstonltc.co.uk  We are a friendly club situated in South Liverpool, just off Allerton Rd and Queens Drive. The club is open to both Tennis players and social members. The club has 6 tennis courts, 3 hard court, 3 artificial grass courts and equipment to provide short tennis for junior players. The clubhouse provides shower and changing facilities. We enter 5 mens teams and 2 ladies teams in the Liverpool league which starts at the end of April every year. Last year our Men's and Ladies A teams both finished runners up in Section A. Palmerston Ladies B won section E and the Palmerston Mixed teams won both the Brockbank and Fairlawn Trophies. The Palmerston Men's A also reached the semi-finals of the Lancashire Roscoe Trophy. The club runs American tournaments in May and June. July is when our club tournaments are played, with the finals taking place toward the end of the month. In September we host the annual September Men's doubles and Mixed doubles open tournaments. On the social side of things, Palmerston has its own bar which is open most nights and all day on a Sunday. We host functions throughout the year, many offering live music and food. The function room also plays host to the pool table and tv. Wednesday night is our quiz night with our resident quiz master Roy. The quiz starts at 8.30pm. New members are always welcome at Palmerston. Maybe you are interested in playing on one of our teams, or maybe you just want to play socially.
